Experience with God

"I don't know where the road will lead,
But in You I have complete trust.
All I know is in the end we win,
And with You, who can separate us?

Wherever the road ends, You will be there.
Whenever my time is done, You will be there.
However You direct me, use me, choose me, You will always be there."

The above lyrics were the words i jotted down during one of the most powerful experiences with God in my life. I came on the retreat with some baggage: anger towards certain people, insecurity and feeling unworthy to carry out His plan.

During the worship session tonight, I felt God tell me that He chose me to come here for a reason. I felt unqualified to be a missionary for Him because I usually don't pray out loud or feel led to pray for people; I usually sit back quietly, whereas everyone else I saw in the room were walking around praying for others.

He told me that my strength was expressing myself through writing music and lyrics. I don't need to be a full-on extrovert to be a missionary for God. I can use the talents that He's given me to do the same as the extroverts.

Through people's prayer for me (for whom I am extremely grateful) I let go of my weight that I had brought with me. I feel no anger, I feel confident, and I am ready to fully rely on Him and trust His plan for my life.

I hope everyone back home has an incredible rest of the week and an even better HUMP DAAAYYYY!!
