Hello from NM!

hey everyone, Lindsey here!
It's been such a great trip so far! The past 2 days our Zuni team has been working on making/lining a trail around the camp we are staying at. The trail was already established, we just had to get logs to line the trail and then smooth out the path. We've made a lot of progress!
It's been also great to connect with the teens that are hanging out/staying with us. They were a little hesitant to open up at the beginning, but now they are really starting to open up.
Last night all of us went to see a Navajo dance and then afterwards we went back to the Navajo church and Pastor Paul talked for a little bit and then we did some worship. Michelle and I pretty much lead the worship time, which was great! We started with some upbeat songs and then broke out With Everything and How He Loves....needless to say, what was gonna be short worship time became an amazing time of prayer/worship/crying our eyes out, etc :) It was just amazing to see how God was speaking to everyone! It's awesome to see everyone stepping out to pray for others when they feel someone being laid on the heart. Some also prayed with the Zuni teens, and with the pastor as well. For me personally, the time was just amazing because I was reminded yet again of the gifts God has given me to lead worship and facilitate that atmosphere for others. When we finished singing, I went to just pray and i couldn't help but just thank God for giving me these gifts and choosing ME to be able to lead others into his presence. It's really an amazing thing. That night was definitely so refreshing for all of us, but we know and trust that God has even more in store for us the rest of the week!
